Identifying Floyd Rose Saddles

Floyd Rose 1000 series 7 String

Here is the 1000 series 7 string (NOT the Special, which is often listed as the FRTS1000 which adds some confusion). Lots of nonsense surrounding these saddles, and incredibly difficult to actually find useful info about, including radio silence from Floyd Rose themselves

the two outside saddles are the lowest height and stamped with one dot.

The Low e and high b string are the medium height saddles and stamped with two dots

Unlike popular myth, the three inner saddles (a string, d and g) are the tallest, the SAME height as each other and marked with three dots

in the pic there are other numbers stamped in the circles, but this may be unique to just this particular tremolo, and are included here for reference.

Here is the Floyd Rose Special 7 string model. Often listed as “FRTS1000”. Again, there are only three saddle sizes, with the A,D and G sharing the same height, tallest saddles, with a “1” stamped on them. The outside saddles are not marked with a stamp, while the A and B strings are marked with a “2” stamped on them
